How to Connect Apple TV Box, TV and Surround Hub / Hub X?

If your TV has eARC, you can connect the ATV directly to the TV’s HDMI input - and run the eARC audio back to the Surround Hub. eARC supports full Dolby Atmos audio.

You can follow the connection steps below: 

1. Connect TV box to HDMI 1~3 IN port of the Surround Hub
2. Connect Hub’s eARC out port to TV’s HDMI in port
3. Select the corresponding HDMI 1-3 IN as the input source for the HUB
4. Select the corresponding HDMI in port as the signal source for the TV
   

NOTE: The on-screen display (OSD) menu will only appear when your hub's eARC port is connected to a TV, meaningly under the connection method above. 

Below is the second connection method, though few people opt for this approach.
