Monaco 6.5'' 80W Subwoofer Troubleshooting and Panel Controls
Q: My subwoofer is not producing any sound, or the volume is very low. How can I fix this?
A: If you are experiencing low or no bass, we recommend a simple two-step adjustment. First, physically increase the subwoofer's internal volume using the control button "CH'' on its bottom panel. Once that is turned up, open your Platin companion app and increase the volume specifically for the BASS (LFE) channel to balance the sound with your system.
Q: What do the various buttons, switches, and ports on the bottom of the subwoofer do?
A: Here is a quick reference guide for the subwoofer's bottom control panel:
-
''1'' Pairing Button: Long-press this button to set the subwoofer into pairing mode. You will hear a long beep, and the LED indicator will blink rapidly.
-
"2 "Service Port: This port is strictly reserved for factory diagnostics and manual firmware updates; it is not used during normal daily operation.
-
"3" LED Status Indicator:
-
Solid Green: Connected and playing audio.
-
Slow Flashing Green: Connected but waiting for an audio signal.
-
Fast Flashing Green: In pairing mode.
-
-
"4" Connection Switch (Wired/Wireless): This switch toggles the audio input method. To use the subwoofer with your Platin WiSA system, this switch must be set to "wireless".
-
"5" Volume Control ("CH" Button): Long-press this button to adjust the subwoofer's internal volume. The default volume is set to 70. To prevent audio distortion, we recommend not exceeding a setting of 95.
- "6" Useless
-
"7" & "8" Line In & Line Out Ports: These ports allow you to daisy-chain a second subwoofer to your setup if you want even more bass. The "Line In" port also allows you to use the subwoofer with legacy, wired systems (such as a traditional A/V receiver or amplifier). And similar to RCA interfaces, the pin-out for Line In and Line Out is Left-Ground-Right.
